WHO
targets
vulnerable members of the camp’s youth by
supporting their education and providing
activities they would otherwise not enjoy
given the restricted opportunities of camp
living. For children of particularly vulnerable
children, additional support is given by
a social worker as needed.

Objective of this Project
are:
Provision of educational and recreational
programs for Palestinian youth and children
in Bourj el Barajneh camp. Improve leadership
skills and group dynamics among children
and youth in the camp
Improve the educational potential of children
and youth in the camp
Establishment of youth and community committees
and observation of their performance Activities
and workshops for youth and children focusing
on building leadership skills Summer camps
and outdoor trips
After school tutoring for
students in math, science, English, Arabic,
history, and geography
Reading promotion program
in the form of a Book Club
Art program in fine art, dance, and
theatre
